The Women Who Powered The All-New QX60

The all-new INFINITI QX60 reflects the vision, expertise, and collaborative artistry of a diverse and accomplished design team led by Michelle Christensen, Trisha Jung, Sayuri Nakashima, and Heather Kniep. Each brought a unique perspective to the project, combining global design sensibilities with a deep understanding of how families and drivers experience a three-row luxury SUV.

Michelle Christensen, known for her award-winning automotive design work, brought an eye for proportion, balance, and fluidity, ensuring the QX60’s silhouette conveys motion even when standing still. Trisha Jung focused on the integration of technology and human-centric ergonomics, shaping a cabin layout that feels intuitive, welcoming, and effortless for drivers and passengers alike. Sayuri Nakashima infused the design with a distinctly Japanese aesthetic, translating principles of harmony, restraint, and elegance into surfaces, lines, and interior details that feel both contemporary and timeless. Heather Kniep oversaw the thoughtful layering of materials and textures, ensuring every touchpoint communicates warmth, quality, and refinement, elevating the QX60’s interior into a serene sanctuary.

Together, this team created a vehicle that balances family-friendly functionality with elevated luxury, sculptural design, and intuitive technology. Their collaboration embodies INFINITI’s philosophy of “human-centered luxury,” resulting in a QX60 that is not only visually striking but also emotionally resonant—where every surface, curve, and feature has been carefully considered to deliver comfort, confidence, and a sense of quiet sophistication for every journey.
